Scottsdale REALTORS® has endorsed local candidates in four of the communities the association serves — Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek and Fountain Hills.
“We are proud to endorse candidates who support growth that balances and retains community character and culture with sustainability and property values,” said Scottsdale REALTORS® 2024 President Peggy Neely. “All these endorsements have been formally approved by our board of directors.”
In Scottsdale, endorsements went to Linda Milhaven for mayor; Tammy Caputi, Justin Laos and Maryann McAllen for city council.
In Carefree, endorsements went to town council candidates Vince D’Aliesio, Lon Johnson and Colleen Rose-Scurti.
In Cave Creek, endorsements went to James “Jim” Grubb for mayor; Tom Augherton, Julie Goldammer, Bryan “Dusty” Rhoades and Kathryn Royer for town council.
In Fountain Hills, endorsements went to Gerry Friedel for mayor; Clayton Corey, Art Tolis and Roderick “Rick” Watts for town council.
These “REALTOR® Champions” were judged by a candidate review committee on their experience, knowledge and alignment with the association’s Public Policy priorities (https://srltr.org/pps) which include balancing growth, private property rights and caring for the environment, economic vitality and quality of life.
