National Builder Debuts New Home Office Designs in Phoenix

Rod Cullum, president of Scottsdale-based custom homebuilder Cullum Homes, said that he is seeing more wealthy buyers ask for multiple home offices in new builds, as well as other upgrades related to the new norm of working from home.

Los Angeles-based KB Home is debuting a home office concept in Phoenix that offers built-in workstations with plenty of counter and cabinet space and an upgraded electrical package.

“Our homes have taken on even greater significance in our lives,” said Kevin McAndrews, president of KB Home’s Phoenix division. “Many people in Phoenix are now working from home, which has made the home office a much more desired and useful space.”

Plans call for offering the new home office at communities on both sides of the Valley, beginning with its Arroyo Seco and Verrado communities in Buckeye and Heartland Ranch community in Coolidge next month, McAndrews said.
