Market Data Report – May 2018

Are local real estate sales and listings stacking up against the nation’s latest forecasts? Are Scottsdale home sales trending above U.S. statistics? Take a look at the latest market data for Maricopa County, as well as the residential real estate market in Scottsdale and the surrounding areas.

High End Property Sales

High End Property Sales fell off after a robust winter and spring, showing our market continues to have seasonal impact.

New Pending Sales

Although high end property sales have slowed down, new pending sales overall are up 3.6%.

Distressed Listing

Foreclosures continue to decline in Maricopa County as distressed listings fall over 60% from 2017 numbers.

Sales Price

Average and Median Sales price shows a healthy but gradual increase which is favorable to the continuation of our strong real estate market.

Inventory

Inventory levels are still well below demand with a continued decline in new listings.
